2024 Nest Events

March 12, 2024: Male osprey returned to Marsh Meadows nest.

March 13, 2024: Female returns to the nest. Mating behavior observed.  Four osprey observed at Marsh Meadows, which is really early.

April 28, 2024: First egg is spotted in the nest.

May 2, 2024:  Second egg laid.

May 5, 2024:  Third egg observed.

May 20, 2024: Third egg was confirmed.

June 5, 2024:  First egg hatched!  Yellow Arrow.

June 7, 2024:  Second egg hatched!

June 9,2024:  Our third chick has hatched!

July 8, 2024:  Three very hot chicks resting but growing.

July 27, 2024: Our chicks are growing fast!

September 14, 2024:  All of our young osprey have begun their long migration to South America.
