The Conanicut Island Raptor Project (CIRP) is a hands-on environmental education program that studies Jamestown’s migratory ospreys. A web camera atop the osprey nest at Jamestown’s Marsh Meadows enables anyone with access to the web to observe real-time images of the nesting birds’ routine.
Funding for the Conanicut Island Raptor Project is provided by private donations and grants to the Jamestown Education Foundation, a 501-C3 non-profit corporation and by the generous support of the RI Turnpike & Bridge Authority.
Donations to JEF are fully tax-deductible and will be acknowledged with a receipt by mail. You may Donate online at the Jamestown Education Foundation website (and choose the CIRP) or make checks payable to Jamestown Education Foundation and note that your donation is for Conanicut Island Raptor Project.
