Osprey Nest Webcam

Welcome to the 20th year of the Conanicut Island Raptor Project!!!  During this time hundreds, if not thousands, of people have enjoyed watching our nest cam.  Thank you all for watching!  A special thank you to the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority for their continued support of this effort!

We had a successful 2024 Osprey nesting season, fledging three young osprey. Looks like 2025 will be a good year with three healthy chicks.

Keep watching them as they grow! Lots of fun!!

Other Notes:

Osprey born several years ago will be returning this year and will be looking for nesting sites. We did erect one new nest platforms this spring at a private property on Beavertail.

Nest sites on Conanicut Island have increased every year with thirty known sites available for 2025. Not bad since we only had one in 2005!
