2025 Nest Events

11 March – first osprey to return to Conanicut Island at the Toll Plaza.

22 March – first adult arrived at the Marsh Meadows nest

23 March – second adult returns to the nest

1 April – mating activity

29 April – first egg observed

4 May – second egg laid

5 May – third egg laid

8 June – first chick hatched

9 June – second chick hatched

10 June – third chick hatched

July – we have lost one check, other two chicks healthy and growing

We fledged two healthy young osprey at the Marsh Meadows nest!
