Funding for the Conanicut Island Raptor Project is provided by private donations and grants to the Jamestown Education Foundation, a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non- profit corporation. Donations to JEF are fully tax-deductible and will be acknowledged with a receipt by mail. Please make checks payable to Jamestown Education Foundation and note that your donation is for CIRP. Plans for 2011

CIRP is awaiting final approval to build and install a handicapped-accessible observation deck at the Water Treatment Plant, just across North Road from the Marsh Meadow's nest. Permanently mounted all-weather binoculars have been donated for public viewing of nest activity. Funding is needed for the deck and educational signs.
Replace the original camera system with a new camera, transmitter, and receiver.
Several old nest platforms will be replaced this spring.

Purchasing Osprey Nesting Poles
Complete and installed nest poles for suitable sites on the island can be purchased from the raptor project for a $1000.00 donation.
